Don’t leave the plants collected in the sun for too long, as the rapid loss of plant moisture affects the creation. When hammering, the vertical way is easier and more likely to make good works.
Here are the 4 easy steps to do plant dyeing:

Choose your favorite plants according to your imagination.

Soak the selected plants in diluted fixative water (please dilute at a ratio of 1:1000, you can use salt water instead of fixative when it runs out) for 15-30 minutes, then take out the plants and remove the surface moisture.

Next, show your imagination on the textile. Don’t forget to dry off any moisture on the surface of the plants.
4.
Use a rubber hammer to turn your priceless imagination into priceless treasures. Please remember to dry your works at the end.
